Friends of Barrow Hall are a group of parents who hold regular meetings to organise fund raising events in the school year. Our aim is to raise extra funds so that all our children benefit. These events also give families a chance to socialize and have fun.
Each year we organise at least 2 school discos, the Christmas Fayre, Easter Bingo and a Summer Barbeque. We also have ad hoc fundraising activities such as Bags 2 School collections and car boot sales.
Please feel free to come forward and help with any of the organised events. We usually put out a request for help when we need it. Any time you can spare would be greatly appreciated, even if it’s just 30 minutes at a single event.
We aim to form a new committee every year, although this is not always possible. The main roles required are a Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer, but we also need general helpers. We are constantly looking for new people to get involved with Friends of Barrow Hall. We would welcome people to our meetings at ANY time during the year. All you need is enthusiasm, a bit of spare time, and some organisational skills.
